Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Gharseldin, Chancellor of the University of Fujairah, the College of Mass Communication and Public Relations organized a workshop to present and evaluate the graduation projects of the final year students. The event started with a speech of Dr. Emad El-Din Jaber, College Dean, who pointed out that allocating a day to discuss the students’ graduation projects is one of the academic traditions that the University of Fujairah is so keen to practice in order to connect the theoretical side of the study with the practical aspect. In this event, students presented their graduation projects, which have varied between a printed magazine namely “Neighbor of the Sun” one of the names of Fujairah Emirate. The “University of Fujairah Panorama” project as well was presented which highlights the history of transforming the University from a Language Learning Center into a College, and finally a full-fledged university which delivers Bachelor and Masters Programs. Another project on Brochures, Posters works, and Booklets on compressed CDs and flash memories was also presented. Some other students also produced a project on the Hijri & Gregorian Calendars for Fujairah Emirate on both, Arabic and English languages. Finally, a project on designing a Website titled “Fujairah Lung” , a name given by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to Fujairah for its distinguished geographical location among other Emirates.
It is worthy to mention that all above projects were conducted under the supervision of the college professors, Dr. Emad El-Din Jaber, Dr. Abu Bakr Shabbo and Dr. Ikhlas Al Tinay. Similarly, the ceremony was attended by various teaching and administrative staff members, as well as a large number of students.
